(1) Minimum top-prize payment period is 20 years. Top prize winners may choose the Cash Option as an alternative to the Annuitized Payment Option. The top prize amount shown is based on one winning ticket. The top prize values governed by "split-prize" liability; the top prize is divided equally among the top prize winning tickets and may be less than shown.

• 1 top-prize winning ticket: The prize value is $1,000 a day for life ($7,000 a week for life).
• 2-14 top prize winning tickets: The prize value is split equally among the winning tickets; the minimum prize value for this category is $500 a week for life
• 15 or more top prize winning tickets: The top prize liability of $7,125,000 is split equally among all top prize winning tickets and paid in one lump sum payment. The minimum prize value for this category shall not be less than any lower tier prize paid in that respective drawing.

Second Prize 5 + 0

(2) Minimum second-prize payment period is 20 years. Second-prize winners may choose the Cash Option as an alternative to the Annuitized Payment Option. Second prize amount shown is based on one to twenty winning tickets. Second prize values governed by "split-prize" liability; the second prize is divided equally among the second prize winning tickets and may be less than shown.

• 1-20 second-prize winning tickets: The annuitized prize level will be $25,000 a year for life.
• 21 or more second-prize winning tickets: The second prize liability of $9,400,000 is split equally among all second prize winning tickets and paid in one lump sum payment. The minimum prize value shall not be less than any lower tier prize paid in that respective drawing.

Third Prizes 4 + 1

(3) The $5,000 prize value is guaranteed to 1,000 winning tickets. If the number of winning tickets exceeds 1,000, the total prize liability of $5,000,000 is divided equally among the winning tickets. The minimum prize value for this category is $200.

1. Lucky for Life^® features a top prize of $1,000 a day for life as well as a second prize of $25,000 a year for life. It is the only lottery draw game where the prize won is directly tied to the life of its winners. Now draws seven days a week.

There are eight additional prize levels that pay from $3 to $5,000, so be sure to check all tickets purchased for possible prizes. You can buy tickets at all Kansas Lottery retailers. See our Find a Retailer page for retail stores near you.

1. Plays cost $2 each. On a play slip, choose any 5 numbers between 1 and 48. Then pick 1 "Lucky Ball" number between 1 and 18. Or, skip the play slip and ask for a Quick Pick ticket and our computers can pick numbers for you! You can play up to five boards on a play slip and you can purchase a multi-draw ticket so you’ll be in the game for up to 15 draws!
2. Lucky for Life drawings are held approximately 9:38 PM. Central Time, seven days a week. Tickets must be purchased before 7:59 PM Central Time, to be eligible for the drawing of that day. Click the Previous Numbers tab below for previous draw numbers or you can watch recorded videos of drawings at https://luckyforlife.us. You have 365 days from the date of the drawing to claim your prize.
3. Both the top prize and second annuity prizes are payable for a winner’s natural life (minimum 20 years) or you can choose to get a one-time cash payment. The cash option is $5.75 million for the top prize and $390,000 for the second prize.
4. Tickets cannot be cancelled after issued. You are responsible for the selection of your numbers and options, not the retailer nor the Lottery.
