Two $150,000 Powerball Winning Tickets Sold in Kansas
There will be more gifts around the tree this holiday season for two players in Kansas following last night’s Powerball drawing. Two tickets sold matched four numbers and the Powerball to win $50,000, and both tickets had added the Power Play to multiply their win by 3X to a $150,000 prize.
The winning numbers in the Wednesday, December 10 Powerball drawing were 10 – 16 – 29 – 33 – 69 Powerball 22 Power Play 3X. Both tickets were sold in Northeast Kansas. That includes the following counties: Marshall, Nemaha, Brown, Doniphan, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Geary, Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Johnson, Osage, Douglas, Franklin, Miami, and Morris.
Players have 365 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. The next Powerball drawing is Saturday, December 13 for an estimated $1 Billion.
Powerball tickets start at just $2, with the option to add the Power Play Multiplier and/or add Double Play to your ticket for an additional $1 each. Powerplay can multiply a non-jackpot win by up to 10X. Cutoff for entry is 8:59 p.m. on draw days.
Kansas Powerball tickets now have an option for an additional draw. The Double Play is a new Powerball feature that only 27 states currently offer that gives players another chance to match their Powerball numbers in a separate drawing with a top cash prize of $10 million.
Players are invited to submit all their winning and non-winning tickets in the Kansas Lottery PlayOn® Players Loyalty program to earn points for drawing entries and a chance to win cash and other prizes! PlayOn® is a registered trademark of Pollard Banknote Limited used under license.
