The last 6 months have been full of changes for Robert Swanson and his fiancé, Asia Daly. The couple moved to Kansas from Florida in early 2025 after hurricanes had done extensive damage to their home. The couple was looking for a fresh start in a smaller town. That fresh start just got a lot easier now that the couple have claimed a $150,000 top prize win on the $20 Cash Windfall instant scratch ticket. 

The couple has been living with Daly’s uncle in Leavenworth while looking for a new home to begin their new lives in the Sunflower State. So, when Swanson and Daly say that this is truly a huge blessing for their family, they are not exaggerating. 

“We really didn’t know what we were going to do after the storms and everything,” Swanson said. “Asia was the one who started pushing for us to move somewhere quieter and greener. Pretty soon, we both realized that we wanted a change.” 

This win comes at a crucial time for the couple, as they have been on the hunt for a place of their own. “Moving isn’t cheap, and buying a house isn’t cheap either,” Swanson added. “This win coming at this time, it truly is a blessing for us. You have no idea!” 

The couple says they will put the money towards their new home, with one exception. “Both of us are originally from Germany, and we have been talking for a long time about going back one day to visit. I think we might finally be able to do that!” 

The winning ticket was sold at Casey’s General Store 1261 at 2004 Spruce Street in Leavenworth. There is one $150,000 top prize remaining in the $20 Cash Windfall game, as well as four $10,000 prizes and thousands in other cash wins.
